Compensation

Local Pay Rate: $28/hr
Weekly Gross: $1205/week
W2 Base Rate: $17/hr
Stipend: $525/week

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to support instrument reprocessing operations within the Sterile Processing Department. The ideal candidate will perform decontamination sterilization assembly and distribution of surgical instruments while maintaining strict adherence to safety and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

Clean disinfect decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
Assemble instrument trays accurately according to guidelines and case needs
Inspect instruments for proper function and report defects
Operate sterilization equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate documentation for all sterilization processes
Manage inventory storage and distribution of instruments and supplies
Ensure compliance with all regulatory safety and infection control standards
Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to support daily operations

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Central Service / Sterile Processing experience
Active CRCST certification (Required)
High School Diploma or GED
Strong knowledge of sterilization processes and reprocessing equipment
Ability to identify and assemble a wide range of surgical instruments
Comfortable working a full-time evening shift
