Mergent Group is supporting a leading communications technology integrator to find a Site Supervisor to join our team to assist in a major long term expansion project at Olympic Dam.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Supervise and lead field teams across data and communications projects and integration works.
• Liaise with Project Managers and Engineers on project scheduling delivery equipment needs and infrastructure readiness.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients supervisors and project managers suppliers and stakeholders.
• Conduct site safety inspections pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
• Review and prepare work packs drawings and checklists for site builds.
• Monitor project progress and quality providing technical guidance and coaching to teams.
• Participate in site meetings audits capital installs and administrative tasks as needed

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Minimum 5 years experience in construction and integration of data and communications projects.
• Working knowledge of BHP requirements
• Previous experience working to a supervisor level
• Certificate III in Telecommunication Technology
• Strong planning and coordination skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Sound technical understanding and ability to guide a multi-trade project team effectively.
• Excellent communication leadership and mentoring skills.
• A strong commitment to safety compliance and continuous improvement.

• First Aid/CPR Certificate

• ACMA Open Registration with Endorsement (Structured cabling Optical Fibre Coaxial Broadband and Testing)
