We are seeking a Client Support Specialist to join our Group Retirement Solutions team in Toronto. The Client Support Specialist will be responsible for providing superior customer service and support for the day-to-day management of all new and existing retirement businesses for People Corporation. This role is the foundation for the Group Retirement Solutions team and is key to providing support to the sales and service teams coordination and distribution of Financial Wellness and assisting with ongoing projects which drive revenue and service excellence.
The Client Support Specialist will:
Provide exceptional service and support to all internal and external stakeholders including team members plan sponsors and plan members
Provide sales support to consultants as it relates to proposals and presentations
Support the client onboarding process including communicating with recordkeeper for documentation setting up client folders filing all required documentation and updating Salesforce
Manage the service protocol and follow up with team members to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
Co-ordinate and prepare meeting materials for all upcoming client meetings including plan review packages benchmarking presentations market reviews and additional materials as required
Contribute to service/support improvements and ad hoc projects
Support team members with client data management platform updates and reporting
Provide informative and timely responses to all plan sponsor and plan member inquiries
Attend participate and take minutes for all team meetings
Assist with the coordination and support of new team members
Attend industry webinars and events to increase business acumen
Work collaboratively using digital tools and responsible for the marketing branding and translation of content for the sales process financial wellness and industry events
To be successful as a Client Support Specialist with People Corporation you will need:
Undergraduate degree in business administration or a related field
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Good business and financial acumen
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word PowerPoint and Excel
A willingness to be adaptive to change a desire for new challenges in a growth-oriented organization and a passion for the client experience is mandatory!

RPA CEBS designation an asset
Strong verbal and written communication in English
