Job Summary
Wayman Education is looking for a Music Teacher to join a highly reputable and well-established secondary school in Watford. This full-time role begins immediately and is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Music Teacher or a confident ECT looking to develop their practice within a supportive and vibrant Performing Arts department. The school is seeking someone who can teach Music across KS3 and KS4 with the option to be involved in wider performing arts enrichment.

Experience and Qualifications
Music-related Degree
QTS or PGCE in Secondary Music
Ability to teach Music across KS3KS4
A strong passion for performance composition and musical pedagogy
Commitment to contributing to concerts extra-curricular activities and department initiatives
Clear and confident communication skills
Strong organisational skills and a proactive engaging approach to teaching
The school welcomes applications from teachers with a background in any musical discipline instrumental vocal composition conducting production as long as you are enthusiastic about engaging young people in Music.
Salary
The salary for this Music Teacher position will be paid to scale on the Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale depending on experience and current pay grade.
