What we are looking for:
- QTS with recent KS2 teaching experience
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging well-structured lessons that inspire pupils
- High expectations for behaviour attainment and personal development
- Strong relationships with pupils families and colleagues
- A collaborative reflective and organised approach to teaching and learning
- Commitment to promoting learning beyond the classroom through enrichment and cross-curricular projects
Key responsibilities:
- Teach a KS2 class full-time supporting pupils academic social and emotional development
- Plan deliver and assess high-quality lessons tailored to pupils of all abilities including those with SEND
- Track and monitor pupil progress to inform planning and next steps in learning
- Contribute to year group and whole-school planning initiatives and extra-curricular activities
- Maintain a positive inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity resilience and a love of learning
- Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships supporting pupil achievement
