Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

The Installation & Field Services Supervisor oversees the installation troubleshooting and maintenance of cabling and field devices related to electronic security systems; including fire alarm CCTV access control intrusion and networking infrastructure.
This role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities ensuring all installations meet company standards project timelines and client expectations. The ideal candidate is an experienced technician ready to take the next step into team leadership mentoring junior techs while maintaining a strong field presence.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Demonstrate technical mastery by independently managing complex installations while training and coaching junior technicians to company standards.
Maintain project timelines with less than 5% variance while adhering to material and labor budgets.
Increase overall crew productivity and first-time completion rates through clear communication task planning and accountability.
Achieve a 95% or higher quality score on post-install inspections and client satisfaction surveys.
Maintain a 100% safety record by upholding OSHA and internal safety protocols.
Identify train and mentor at least one technician capable of leading smaller projects or service calls independently.

OBJECTIVES

Lead train and support installation technicians across multiple projects and client sites.
Coordinate daily assignments ensuring efficient routing resource utilization and safety compliance.
Perform and oversee installation configuration and testing of fire alarm systems CCTV access control intrusion detection and structured cabling.
Troubleshoot system and network issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum performance.
Conduct quality checks verify documentation and close out work orders accurately.
Maintain communication with project managers and clients to ensure clear expectations and professional service delivery.
Uphold safety standards and OSHA compliance at all times.
Provide input on process improvements inventory needs and team development.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
Minimum 4 years of field experience in one or more of the following:
