Working Student (mfd) Compliance Department

Were looking for a motivated Working Student to join our Compliance Department and help us keep our products safe compliant and ready for our customers. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in food regulations product labelling and real-world compliance workflows.

You will be part of Crevel Europe a global importer of Mexican and American food products in Europe. With a portfolio of more than 1400 productsfrom mainstream to independent brandswe work with B2B customers across 33 European countries supplying them with high-quality authentic Mexican and American products. We are considered a benchmark for international food import in Europe.

Tasks

What you will do

• Review product ingredient lists and check German labels following internal guidelines customer requirements and supplier specifications.
• Verify EU and non-EU food regulatory requirements for a wide range of products.
• Assist in preparing and updating documentation such as label templates product information sheets and compliance forms.
• Work closely with our Labelling Team to ensure accuracy and consistency across all materials.
• Help improve our internal processes by bringing in your ideas and supporting ongoing optimization projects.

Requirements

What you bring

• You are currently enrolled in Food Engineering Food Science Food Technology or a related programme.
• You are fluent in English and have at least German B2 (especially important for label checks).
• You can work at least 2 days per week on-site at our warehouse and office in Hilden.
• You are detail-oriented reliable and eager to learn about EU/German food regulations and how a compliance department operates.
• Curiosity teamwork and a proactive mindset- were always open to new ideas!
