Job Details:

Our client is looking for an Assistant Controller to support the Corporate Controller across technical accounting reinsurance accounting accounting policy internal controls and tax coordination.
Our Client need a hands-on CPA with strong US GAAP/ASC 944 with strong exp with Insurance/reinsurance/warranty experience.
This is a great role for a Big 4 Senior / Manager or similar profile who wants broader ownership in a growing fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead technical accounting research and application ensuring compliance with US GAAP (especially ASC 944 Insurance) and regulatory standards.
Provide analytical support for the monthly financial reporting package.
Support the financial close process and preparation of financial disclosures.
Develop maintain and update accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements (Must Haves)

Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field
CPA required
4 years of progressive accounting experience
