Role Summary:
The Operations Executive in Warehouse Operations is responsible for overseeing and
supporting the operational processes. This includes assisting the Reporting Managers in managing day-to-day warehouse operations preparing and analyzing reports and ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of all warehouse
activities. The role requires strong computer skills for report preparation data analysis and communication as well as an understanding of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Support:
oAssist Reporting Managers in coordinating and managing all warehouse operations including inventory management order processing shipping receiving and storage.
oEnsure the warehouse operates efficiently and aligns with organizational standards.
oMonitor warehouse processes and resolve operational issues that may arise.
oAssist in overseeing health and safety protocols within the warehouse environment.
Report Preparation s Analysis:
oPrepare daily weekly and monthly reports on warehouse performance inventory levels order fulfillment and shipping.
oAnalyze data and provide insights to the Reporting Manager regarding operational efficiency warehouse productivity and inventory trends.
oGenerate reports for senior management to support decision-making processes.
oMaintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory using software tools.
Inventory s Supply Chain Coordination:
oAssist with inventory management ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage of goods.
oWork closely with procurement and logistics teams to monitor supply chain operations and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
oAssist in forecasting inventory needs based on historical data and future demand.
Process Optimization:
oHelp identify inefficiencies in warehouse operations and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
oAssist with the implementation of new procedures or technologies aimed at increasing operational efficiency.
oMonitor warehouse workflow and recommend changes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
System s Computer Knowledge:
oPrepare detailed reports using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables VLOOKUP macros)
oMaintain accurate data entry.
oHelp train and support warehouse staff on software tools and reporting systems.
Communication s Cross-Functional Coordination:
oLiaise with other departments (logistics procurement HR etc.) to ensure warehouse operations are aligned with overall business goals.
oAssist the Regional Manager in communicating with third-party logistics providers vendors and other stakeholders.
oProvide timely and accurate updates on warehouse status and activities to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education:
oMBA (Master of Business Administration) from a recognized institution ideally with a focus on operations or supply chain management.
Experience:
oFresher
oHands-on experience in report preparation data analysis and system management in an operational environment.
Skills s Knowledge:
oStrong computer skills including proficiency in:
Microsoft Excel (advanced skills including pivot tables data analysis macros).
Other Reporting Tools (e.g. Google Sheets MS Access or custom reporting systems).
oStrong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
oAbility to analyze data generate insights and create detailed reports.
oExcellent communication skills for working with regional managers warehouse teams and other stakeholders.
oStrong organizational skills with attention to detail.
oAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
