What Youll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant youll be a key part of our patient care team helping ensure smooth workflow quality care and a positive client experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams treatments and surgical procedures
- Supporting and advocating for pets while educating clients with warmth and clarity
- Helping with patient handling sample collection and basic in-house lab testing
- Maintaining accurate medical records and contributing to efficient patient flow
- Keeping exam rooms treatment areas and equipment clean organized and ready for use
- Bringing a positive team-oriented mindset to support excellent patient care
What Were Looking For
- Compassionate reliable and dedicated to teamwork
- Strong communication and client service skills
- At least 1 year of experience in veterinary or animal care preferred
- Experience in vaccine protocols and surgical monitoring preferred
- Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs and cats of all sizes
- Basic knowledge of veterinary procedures terminology and daily patient care
- A willingness to learn grow and support the team in a collaborative environment
Compensation & Culture
Pay is competitive and based on experience typically ranging from $19$22 per hour. The final rate will reflect your skills experience and qualifications.
