Radiographer is expected to carry out the following responsibilities;
operate ultrasound equipment to
capture images of organs tissues and blood flow as directed by physicians.
Prepare patients: Explains procedures to patients position them correctly and ensure their comfort
Analyse Images: Assess the quality of images and identify any abnormalities or issues that may need
Document Findings: Record patient history technical information and preliminary findings. Ensure
all documentation is accurate and complete.
Maintain Equipment: Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained calibrated and cleaned.
Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work with radiologists and other medical professionals to
interpret images and provide insights into patient diagnoses.
Ensure Patient Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to protect
Requirements
Associates degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Radiography
Certification: Certification from a recognized training institution
Experience: Two years relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
