Position: Primary Generalist Classroom Teacher

About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Generalist Teachers to join our growing team across our Melton and Hoppers Crossing campuses. The successful candidates will create a supportive engaging and inclusive learning environment where all students are encouraged to achieve their best academically socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
Plan deliver and assess high-quality learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum and the schools instructional model.
Create a positive safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and engagement.
Use a variety of evidence-based teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessment and provide timely feedback to students and families.
Build strong relationships with students families and colleagues to support a collaborative school culture.
Participate in school-wide initiatives professional learning and team planning.
Uphold all school policies and maintain a high standard of professional practice.
Skills & Attributes
Strong knowledge of primary curriculum and contemporary pedagogical approaches.
Ability to differentiate instruction and support students with diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and classroom management abilities.
Commitment to continuous professional growth and reflective practice.
A positive proactive attitude and a passion for supporting young learners.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) or eligibility to obtain it.
Current Working With Children Check (if applicable).
Understanding of child safety standards and a commitment to student wellbeing.
Australian working rights.
