Job Description
The Psychology program at Keene State College seeks an adjunct instructor to teach multiple sections of General Psychology an 100 level course for the Fall 2024 semester. This is a part-time non-benefitted position. Course Description: An introduction to the major topics involved in understanding the behavior of humans and animals. Topics include perception cognition social behavior and psychopathology. (MW 8am-9:45am MW 10am-11:45am MW 12-1:45pm) Our students come from diverse socio-economic and educational backgrounds with a high percentage of first-generation college students. By the time Keene State College students complete their undergraduate experience they develop critical thinking creative inquiry intercultural competence civic engagement and commitments to well-being and to sustainability that will serve them as active citizens and lifelong learners. We strongly encourage individuals to apply who will support the Colleges ongoing efforts to help students become responsible global citizens. Required Qualifications
Masters degree or PhD in Psychology.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience; familiarity with or ability to use learning management systems and other technology for course delivery.
