DescriptionAs an IT Engineer II here at Honeywell you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for IT systems and infrastructure. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems and to resolve any issues that may arise. This role requires strong technical skills problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset. You will report directly to our IT Manager and youll work out of our Pune Maharashtra location on a hybrid work this role you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems ensuring that our employees have the tools and resources they need to perform their jobs effectively. You will also play a key role in maintaining the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities- Design develop maintain and enhance software applications using C# frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and debug existing C# applications and AutoCAD integrations to resolve issues and enhance performance
- Create and maintain technical documentation for the application development processes user manuals and API guides
- Document design specifications coding standards and user instructions for the applications developed
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure application reliability and performance
- Collaborate with Analyst teams to perform comprehensive testing on developed applications and AutoCAD integrations
- Provide technical support to end-users assisting with any issues related to the applications developed
- Conduct training sessions for users on new features and functionalities in the developed software
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions to ensure best practices in software development
- Work closely with team members and other stakeholders to align development work with project timelines and goals
Qualifications- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Familiarity with the API and the ability to manipulate CAD objects programmatically
- Minimum 6 years professional experience:
At least five years of experience in C# programming with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
At least two years of experience with databases (SQL Server Oracle) and data access technologies to handle data storage and retrieval tasks
At least one year of experience reading reviewing and interpreting electrical schematics and network drawings
At least one year of customer support and/or customer facing experience - Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with users gather requirements and present solutions clearly
- Interest and skill to collaborate with engineering functional teams
