What will you do

A day in the life of a Senior Manager Brand Management Global at Vans looks a little like this.

The Senior Manager Global Brand Management at Vans will serve as a steward of the brands global position driving strategic initiatives that reinforce Vans identity and consumer connection worldwide. This role focuses on shaping and executing mid-term brand strategies developing integrated marketing plans and ensuring brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver cohesive storytelling and impactful consumer experiences leveraging insights and data to guide decisions and optimize performance.

  • Develop and execute mid-term global brand strategies (1836 months) that reinforce Vans identity support business objectives and maintain brand relevance Lead the planning and execution of business-critical Lifestyle and Action Sports projects ensuring globally aligned storytelling launch coordination and strategic impact across markets.
  • Drive strategic planning for global event activations including cultural moments action-sports events retail experiences and community-focused programs that elevate brand heat and consumer engagement.
  • Define maintain and evolve global brand guidelines to ensure creative consistency and messaging cohesion across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Leverage consumer insights and market data to inform strategic decisions identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in storytelling and global brand expression.
  • Partner with regional marketing creative product and planning teams to deliver integrated global campaigns toolkits and go-to-market frameworks.
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional teams ensuring alignment operational clarity and timely execution of global brand initiatives.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness analyze performance metrics and recommend strategic optimizations to maximize brand and business impact.

Additionally while formal education in a related field is great to have we are most interested in your 7-9 years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

  • 7 years of experience in brand management or marketing strategy within a global consumer brand.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute brand strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in global event activation strategy cross-regional coordination and large-scale program management.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in applying consumer insights and market data to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage complex global projects and deliver results within a fast-paced matrixed environment.
  • Experience leading teams or cross-functional working groups providing direction motivation and strategic clarity.

  • Location requirement: Hybrid schedule in-office in Costa Mesa CA.

$125280.00 USD - $156600.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan sales incentive orcommissionpotential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
