The Senior Director Private Aviation Solutions at Magellan Jets is a sales-driven role focused on providing tailored aviation solutions to high-net-worth clients. Responsibilities include converting inbound leads and self-sourced prospects into long-term customers managing the sales cycle and fostering client relationships for retention. With the support of Magellan Jets 24/7 flight operations dedicated sourcing team and innovative marketing the role combines client service excellence with new business development to expand both personal and company growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Proactively follow up on inbound leads to efficiently qualify or disqualify marketing-generated prospects.

Engage with potential clients from the existing database through targeted outboundefforts including phone calls texts emails and social media outreach.

Transform qualified leads into valuable client accounts nurturing relationships to ensureretention and growth.

Upsell existing programs to drive larger purchases and cross-sell clients into other offeringssuch as charters or jet card memberships.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with private jet operators to expand productknowledge and ensure access to a diverse range of aircraft creating tailored solutions forclients.

Work closely with sales leadership flight operations central sourcing and finance teams todeliver seamless services that meet the highest standards of client expectations.

Maintain meticulous records of all prospecting activities in Salesforce ensuring accuracyand consistency across client interactions.

Deliver weekly updates on prospecting efforts and pipeline health to track progress andalign with sales goals.

Represent Magellan Jets by attending industry and community events to build a robustprofessional network and strengthen the companys presence locally and beyond.

COMPETENCIES:

Knowledge:

Minimum of 5 years in private aviation sales or 10 years in consultative B2C/B2B salestargeting high-net-worth or corporate clients.

Strong understanding of private aviation programs including jet cards on-demandcharter and aircraft categories.

Solid grasp of sales cycle management client retention strategies and revenue growthprinciples.

Knowledge of luxury services hospitality or high-touch client environments

Awareness of industry trends pricing structures and market dynamics in private aviation.

Skills:

Proven success in consultative relationship-driven sales

Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills

Strong client retention upselling and referral generation abilities.

Proficient in Salesforce or a similar CRM system and sales pipeline management.

Highly organized adaptable and self-motivated in a fast-paced environment.

Abilities:

High Energy & Output: Maintaining self-motivation and high energy in a fast-pacedenvironment.

Willing to learn and adaptable to changing circumstances.

High attention to detail and resilient personality.

Open to travel.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (if applicable):

This position doesnt have any supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Location: This role will be based in either Los Angeles or San Francisco and all employees should be comfortable traveling up to 30% of the time for meetings events or client visits.

Conditions: Must have a dedicated private workspace to conduct business withoutdistraction. Occasional travel to aircraft or client locations may be required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Extended periods sitting at a desk or workstation.

Occasional walking/ movement between work areas (e.g. meetings restrooms orkitchen).

Repetitive Hand and Wrist Movements via frequent typing and use of a mouse.

Light lifting of office supplies documents or equipment (up to 20 lbs).

Screen Use: Prolonged use of a computer screen.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a Full-Time Exempt position.

TRAVEL:

This role involves approximately 2030% travel to engage with clients strengthen strategicrelationships lead renewal initiatives and collaborate with teams across markets and companyevents

This is a commission-based sales role with a base salary of $65000$75000 plus performance-driven incentives. Earnings increase based on the number of jet cards sold charter trips booked and customer accounts retained. Additional bonuses include renewals new accounts quarterly sales targets and overall client retention. Total compensation varies based on quota achievement experience and location with potential access to a full benefits package from Magellan Jets.
