Key responsibilities include monitoring maternalfetal status using external and internal monitors assessing labor progress and managing analgesia and anesthesia support with physician orders. Youll participate in deliveries assist with cesarean procedures when needed and provide immediate neonatal stabilization and resuscitation as required. Postpartum assessments lactation consulting newborn care education and family counseling will round out your daily duties. Youll triage obstetric events respond to emergencies with composure and document accurately to ensure continuity of care across shifts. Collaboration is essential: youll partner with obstetricians midwives and pediatric teams to deliver evidence-based care that respects each familys values and birth plan.
