Our System Commissioning & Performance (SC&P) Group plays a critical role in shaping how we deliver on that promise. Were looking for a Manager Operations Integrationto join our team - someone who will connect operational delivery with system commissioning priorities strengthen cross-agency collaboration and manage a team responsible for delivering operational and performance outcomes while embedding robust performance and operational processes across the organisation and sector.

About the role Mō te tūranga mahi

This role is pivotal in ensuring operational performance and integration support ACCs strategic priorities and deliver high quality outcomes.

  • Lead operational integration across business units ensuring alignment with commissioning priorities.
  • Manage and develop a team to deliver operational and performance initiatives effectively.
  • Resolve high-risk operational and performance issues and escalate where needed.
  • Lead the shaping and execution of SC&Ps annual planning process.
  • Drive strategic change initiatives and contribute to business cases board papers and ministerial briefings.
  • Facilitate collaboration across Service Delivery and SC&P teams.
  • Monitor performance and compliance using data to support continuous improvement.
  • Communicate consistently across teams ensuring clarity and cohesion.
  • Build strong internal stakeholder relationships and manage sector engagement to support reputational outcome.

About you Mōu

Youre a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of operational delivery and system-level performance. Youre confident working with senior leaders and thrive in environments where collaboration and clarity are key.

Youll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in business or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience managing and developing a team to achieve operational and strategic goals.
  • Senior-level experience in operational and financial management performance improvement and business analysis.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality written material such as reports presentations and executive-level communications.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage risk.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi in policy and process design.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage consistently across diverse teams.

The base salary range for this role is $164705 - $193771 with appointment depending on skills and experience plus a generous 9% super contribution.
