Qualifications:
College hours high school diploma or GED
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and file maintenance
Excellent organization communication collaboration and interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent telephone and public relations skills
Strong English writing and spelling skills
Primary Purpose:
Provide clerical assistance as assigned.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the professional learning management/database system for district.
- Update professional learning management/database training content and provide suggestions/feedback for improvement
- Provide training and continuous support to campus and department professional learning input managers in person and online.
- Perform extensive data input.
- Support the planning coordination and implementation of district professional learning sessions and days to ensure smooth and effective learning experiences.
- Handle heavy daily telephone and e-mail communication.
- Prepare correspondence reports memos etc.
- Maintain filing systems for professional learning documents.
- Contribute to team efforts in maintaining an efficient office environment.
- Assist in maintaining Professional Learning online communication platforms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Equipment Used:
Personal computer laminator printer copier plotter and fax machine.
Working Conditions:
Ability to stand sit walk stoop push and pull. Repetitive hand motions prolonged use of a computer. Moderate (15-44 pounds) lifting and carrying. Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress; occasional prolonged and irregular hours; some district travel required.
