Role Summary and Impact
As a Media Strategist at WPP Media youll help shape media campaigns based on audience insights channel knowledge data set KPIs previous learnings and strategic goals. You work closely with clients Client Leads and our in-house specialists to ensure our campaigns are continuously optimized and deliver real business value.

We believe a great Media Strategist is naturally curious and stays up to date with the latest trends formats and platforms. Youre excited about the opportunity to guide others supporting the growth of junior team members and helping clients understand the evolving role of media.

You bring a holistic view of media planning and understand how different channels work together to meet client your role youll collaborate with Media Managers Media Executives and specialists across disciplines. Youll also be responsible for crafting briefs to ensure we get the best possible output from our specialist teams.

Skills and Experience
Were looking for someone whos passionate about media strategy and creating impact. You dont have to tick every single box but here are some things that might describe you:

  • You follow trends in marketing media data and technology and youre curious to keep learning.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively and believe the best ideas come from diverse teams.
  • You take a creative and strategic approach to problem-solving always with the clients goals in mind.
  • You understand how different media channels work together to create results and youre comfortable connecting media strategy to KPIs and business outcomes.
  • Youre hands-on when needed and have an eye for both detail and the bigger picture.
  • Youre comfortable in a dynamic fast-moving environment and like to take initiative.
  • You value an international work culture and are fluent in Swedish and English both written and spoken.

Your background might include:

  • Around 5 years of experience working with digital media strategy from agency side.
  • A solid understanding of the digital media landscape and ideally experience across other media types too.
  • Experience presenting ideas and recommendations to different stakeholders.
  • A degree in marketing economics communications or similar or equivalent experience.
