Your role involves promoting significant business impact through your skills and contributions utilizing deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to address a wide range of challenges across various technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams and vendors
- Develops secure and high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence the product design application functionality and technical operations and processes
- Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks tools and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
- Support the team in the modernization agenda using Agile methodology where this person will be responsible to participate in and guides entry level team members to participate in 2-week sprint cycle including relevant events. Supports and encourages experimentation prioritizing frequent feedback collection to inform next steps.
- Identifies possible opportunities to optimize processes or workflow through use of automation. Prioritizes implementation of SDLC and drives team to do same in a effective manner.
- Demonstrates a high level of competence in research and usage of new technologies. Actively guides others in applying these skills. Invests in building technical skills and knowledge cross-functionally or outside main domain of expertise.
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions using cloud architecture ensuring scalability security and operational efficiency.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineer concepts and advanced applied addition demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
- Experience creating and maintaining global financial systems with low tolerance for failures high performance resilience and security.
- Cloud experience on AWS (including serverless components) and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency in programming languages.
- Managerial Skills like team empowering coach for impact foster feedback drive performance and set clear directions.
- Fluent in English.
