Our Team & Opportunity
The APAC Marketing Technology (MarTech) teamis responsible for:
Driving engineering excellence across Adobe SFMC AWS Experience technologies and Public Websites.
Partnering with IT Marketing and senior stakeholders across Vanguard Global teams to deliver strategic outcomes.
Advancing Vanguards mission by enabling Marketing through secure scalable and innovative technology solutions.
We are seeking aSystems Integration Engineertobuild andmaintainresilient loosely coupled integrations across a distributedMarTechand Public Web ecosystem.
This role is handson and deliveryfocused with an emphasis onTypeScript / development automated testing and learning how to build and support secure reliable integrations in a modern cloudbased environment.You will work closely with senior engineers tech leads and architects while building practical experience acrossAPIs eventdriven integrations and cloud servicesgradually taking on increasing responsibility as your capability grows.
Youllwork closely with engineers architects and platform teams across Marketing Technology Public Web Data and Core Systems to define clear versioned contracts and delivereventdriven asynchronous integrations.

What You Will Do
Engineering & Integration Development
Develop and enhance system integrations using TypeScript / under guidance from senior engineers.
Contribute to integrations using REST APIs and eventdriven patterns following established standards and designs.
Implement changes safely by following contractfirst principles and versioned interfaces.
Write clean maintainable code that adheres to team coding and security standards.
Testing & Quality
Write andmaintainunit tests and integration tests as part of daytoday development.
Contribute to automated test suites embedded within CI/CD pipelines.
Learn and apply consumerdriven contract testing approaches where applicable.
Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and consistency.
Security & Reliability
Apply secure coding practices in development including safe handling of data dependencies and credentials.
Support the reliability of integrations by implementingappropriate errorhandling and logging.
Assistin investigating and debugging issues in distributed systems including production incidents with support from senior team members.
Collaboration & Learning
Work closely with other engineers platform teams and delivery partners to understand integration requirements.
Learn established integration patterns AWS services andMarTechplatforms used across the organisation.
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Actively seek feedback and coaching to grow technical and professional capability.
What We Are Looking For:
Core Technical Skills:
TypeScript/:Handson experience building production applications using TypeScript and .
Testing:Practical experience with unit testing and integration testing.
Secure Coding:Awareness of secure coding practices and how to apply them in development.
Debugging:Ability to investigate and debug issues including in multiservice or distributed systems.
Approximately 35 years of industry experience in a software engineering role.
GoodtoHave Experience
Exposure to AWS serverless services such as:Lambda SQS SNSEventBridge DynamoDB
Familiarity withfrontendframeworks:Angular React or
Familiarity with
Experience contributing toendtoend/ automationtesting
Basic familiarity with GitHub workflows CI/CD pipelines or cloud monitoring tools.
Exposure toMarTechplatforms such as Adobe Experience Manager Adobe Experience Platform or SFMC.
