Job Summary
Location: Geraldton Port
Roster: 4 Days 4 Nights 4 Off
Hourly Rate: $52 per hour Superannuation
Shift Length: 12 Hours
Type: Permanent
We are looking for Front-End Loader Operators to join our Geraldton team on a permanent basis. The role involves operating front-end wheel loaders to handle iron ore and other bulk commodities efficiently and safely.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Experience working in confined-space shed environments and managing ore stockpiles.
- Ability to perform under pressure and in varying environmental conditions.
- Knowledge of and commitment to complying with Australian Federal Laws and Western Australia state laws and regulations.
- Good record-keeping which is essential for compliance purposes.
- Ability to carry out routine maintenance to mobile plant and report faults.
- Ability to follow strict workplace and safety procedures & have an ongoing commitment to safe work practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
Qualifications :
- Valid and current Drivers Licence
- Verification of competency (VOC) for Front-End Wheel Loader (FEL).
- Relevant VOCs for other machinery operations.
