Ramboll Belgium is looking for a driven and resourceful environmental professional to reinforce the site solutions team. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be to undertake project work in Flanders (main focus) and abroad (as opportunities arise) predominantly in the following service areas:
- Field work supervision on a range of complex projects in contaminated sites;
- Managing of soil & groundwater investigations groundwater monitoring campaigns risk assessment and remediations;
- Reporting; and
- Stakeholder management (subcontractors clients regulator) with a focus on keeping close ties to clients and understanding of their needs.
Ideal candidates can demonstrate the following:
- A Bachelor or Masters degree in environmental sciences engineering geology chemistry biology or similar;
- Knowledgeable of applicable local & European environmental legislation.
- Proven experience in the field of soil & groundwater investigations and/or experience with remediations. Auditing experience is a plus.
- Fluent proficiency of Dutch as well as English.
- Strong health and safety background and behaviour-based safety and willing to supervise work on field from a EHS perspective.
- Familiar with AutoCAD/GIS and other standard software; and
- Excellent written and communications skills.
