Role Summary:
The Business Development Manager - APAC will be responsible for identifying developing and closing business opportunities within the region. This role requires a strong understanding of government procurement processes the ability to build collaborative relationships and navigate complex international markets
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government agencies in key customers within the region.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and deliver against quarterly and annual bookings targets.
- Develop deep knowledge of government procurement policies bidding processes and compliance requirements.
- Represent the company at industry events trade shows and government meetings Represent the company at industry events trade shows and government meetings in a professional and respectful manner that values diversity and inclusion.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including product marketing legal and operations to develop and tailor offerings to meet the unique needs of government customers.
- Prepare detailed proposals presentations and RFI/RFP responses.
- Cultivate long-term strategic relationships with key government stakeholders partners and consultants.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of business development sales or account management experience selling to international governments or public sector clients.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex high-value B2G sales environments.
- Deep understanding of international government procurement tendering and contracting processes.
- Effective negotiation communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with Law Enforcement and Government Intelligence agencies.
- Experience working throughout APAC countries.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
- Fluency in English required; additional language(s) a strong asset.
