Description

OurFort McMurray ABlocation is currently looking for aLodging Maintenance Technicianto join the team. Our Lodging Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing a wide array of skilled trades labor facility maintenance and general labor responsibilities in support of a variety of lodging and related facilities equipment and grounds.

This position is camp work on a 20/10 rotation. Candidate must stay in camp.

Responsibilities

Perform various tasks duties and responsibilities to maintain and repair various facility systems structures equipment and grounds.
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment systems facilities and properties covered by the Company.
Follow prescribed policies practices standards and procedures in maintaining and repairing Company property and equipment.
Adhere to safety standards and prescribed practices including Company and governmental regulatory requirements.
Prepare and process documentation such as work orders purchase invoices/orders process and methods sheets instructions and maintenance plans.
Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

Knowledge of trades such as plumbing heating air conditioning and ventilation and carpentry.
Ability to read write and perform rudimentary calculations in basic mathematics.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout a shift
Safety training courses such as H2S Alive First Aid/CPR and Confined Space is preferred.
Must possess a valid non GDL drivers license and have a clean driving record.
Must be able to work independently and maintain schedules and timetables for work completion and maintenance programs.
Must be able to work 20 days at a time 20/10 shift 10-hour days.
Must meet the Company health and legal standards established for a drug-free environment
