Job Summary
Under the direction of the Circulation Supervisor provides support for the Library by performing circulation functions using the integrated Library System ( ILS ) maintaining circulation information and assisting other departments as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education: High school diploma and any combination of education training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. Experience with customer service and cash handling one year or more. Required: Excellent computer skills to utilize library software programs; Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint; other software as needed for the position. Ability to effectively troubleshoot basic technical issues and refer issues to the appropriate department if needed. Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills. Displays excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal and external customers. Ability to work with a diverse population by promoting an inclusive and positive team environment. Excellent verbal non-verbal and written communication skills. Detail oriented and quick learner; work must be highly accurate.
