Examples of Important Duties

Zamboni Operator(Starting @ $15.45/hr)

Zamboni operators are responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of ice resurfacing equipment.

Duties include:

Ensuring all ice equipment is operation
Oversee daily facility maintenance and leaning
Complete ice measurements
Enforce facility rules and regulations
Sharpening facility rental and customer skates (training provided)
Knowledge of facility schedule programs fees and policies

Should be outgoing teamwork oriented flexible and have excellent customer service skills. Additional on-site training will be provided. Pay rate is based on experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid drivers license and ability to pass defensive driving course is required. Previous experience with skate sharpening and driving a Zamboni preferred. Minimum age: 18

Supplemental Information

May be subject to medical drug and alcohol testing.

These positions are seasonal (part-time) and do not include benefits. Pay rates are based on experience and qualifications.

Allselected candidates must display excellent customer service skills. Some positions attain First Aid CPR and AED certifications (training classes available) and attend in-house orientation.
