EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY MID TO SENIOR LEVEL

Our client a leading AmLaw 100 national law firm is seeking a drivenAssociate Attorney to join its dynamic Employment Litigation Practice in California. This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated employment litigation mattersincluding class action single-plaintiff and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) litigationwithin a collaborative team serving major employers across industries.

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in California in good standing
4 years of substantive employment litigation experience
Experience representing employers in federal and California state employment matters
Exposure to class action and PAGA litigation preferred but not required
Strong understanding of federal and California employment laws and regulations
Demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of complex litigation including briefing discovery depositions and motion practice
Prior experience at a large California defense firm or a smaller boutique firm handling sophisticated management-side employment matters
Excellent writing research and oral advocacy skills with strong attention to detail
Collaborative mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional client service

Key Responsibilities

Represent employers in a wide range of employment litigation matters including class actions PAGA actions and single-plaintiff matters
Conduct factual investigations and manage complex discovery including Electronically Stored Information(ESI)
Take and defend depositions and participate in court hearings and settlement conferences
Draft pleadings substantive briefs dispositive motions and other litigation documents
Support case strategy and collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys
Advise clients on litigation risk and provide proactive business-focused counsel

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Salary: Annual salary range of $255000 $330000 as determined by experience and market factors
