Science Teacher (Lingle Ft. Laramie Middle & High School) Eligible for 10,000 Hiring Incentive Based on Certification

This is a grades 612 science-certified teaching position at Lingle-Fort Laramie Schools in Lingle Wyoming for the school year. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including health vision and dental insurance. The salary is dependent on education and experience. An endorsement in Physical Science is required with preference for a General/Comprehensive Science endorsement or multiple science endorsements. The start date is August10 2026.

The selected candidate for this position will be eligible for a $10000 hiring incentive contingent upon obtaining the required certification no later than August 10 2026. The incentive will be paid in four installments of $2500 each scheduled for September 2026 June 2027 September 2027 and June 2028 provided the employee remains actively employed at the time each installment is disbursed. This incentive is not available to candidates employed under an alternative PTSB certification including Exception Authorizations or Professional Industry Career (PIC) permits.

The job of Teacher - Middle/High School was established for the purpose/s of developing students academic skills through academic and/or career vocational courses of study and implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of students; providing feedback to students parents and administration regarding student progress expectations goals etc.

This position reports to the building principal.

Education Bachelors degree in Secondary Education Science

Continuing Educ. / Training Maintain PTSB certification by earning 5 credit hours per every 5 year renewal period

Certificates & Licenses Professional Teaching Standards Board Certification with Secondary Comprehensive/General Science 6-12 endorsement or Physical Science endorsement.
