Job Summary
Due to rapid growth within the business OCU Group are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to help with our busy yard in Stockenchurch High Wycombe.
Responsibilities of the Yard Operative:
- Ensure the yard is always operational safe and compliant to H&S regulations
- Maintain an up-to-date awareness of H&S
- Conduct regular inspections of the yard
- Monitoring and controlling access and parking within the yard
- Keep the yard neat and tidy
- Monitoring and controlling aggregate bays along with other materials stored in the yard
- Monitoring and controlling waste skips
- Loading and unloading lorries if required
- Any other reasonable tasks that you are requested to carry out
What we are looking for:
- Experience working in a busy yard/similar environment
- Banksman Qualification is desirable
- CSCS Qualification is desirable
- Initiative to carry out tasks independently
- Ability to cope with the physical demands of the role
- Counterbalance FLT Licence is desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively to ensure efficiency
