Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable IT Technician to join a high-achieving secondary school in Manchester. This is a full-time permanent opportunity for a dedicated technician eager to support a busy school environment with modern digital learning needs.

Role Responsibilities
Providing first-line technical support to staff and students
Managing and troubleshooting hardware software and classroom devices
Supporting the school network user accounts and Microsoft 365 systems
Maintaining IT asset logs assisting with upgrades and installations
Ensuring smooth running of AV equipment printers and classroom technologies
Maintaining cybersecurity standards and data protection compliance
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in IT support (school experience desirable)
Strong knowledge of Windows Office 365 and basic networking
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Relevant qualification (CompTIA Microsoft Cisco) desirable
Salary
Paid to support staff scale based on experience.
