Position Overview: Great Basin Staffing is hiring a Journeyman Plumber to support commercial/industrial plumbing scopes. Youll perform layout rough/trim testing and code-compliant installs while mentoring an apprentice and coordinating with site supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Remove/install commercial plumbing systems (domestic water DWV gas).
Read and interpret blueprints/isometrics to execute accurate installations.
Perform solder/braze press groove thread and solvent-weld methods.
Set carriers/fixtures; install grease interceptors backflows water heaters.
Pressure/air tests; document redlines/as-builts; uphold site safety and cleanliness.
Coordinate with GC and other trades to meet schedule milestones.

Qualifications:

Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber License (REQUIRED).
5 years commercial/industrial plumbing experience.
Strong knowledge of UPC/IPC and local code.
Proficient with copper PEX PVC/CPVC and cast iron.
Reliable transportation and basic hand tools; OSHA-10 preferred.
