Location: Berlin Start: Asap Working model: On-site Scope: Full-time
Tasks
- Hardware Development: Design and optimise hardware solutions for our robotic systems from first prototype to field-ready assembly.
- Circuit Design: Develop circuit concepts and PCB layouts for analogue and digital electronics ensuring performance reliability and clean integration.
- Component Selection: Identify evaluate and integrate the right electronic components for our systems balancing innovation cost and manufacturability.
- Testing & Validation: Plan and conduct hardware tests to ensure safety signal integrity and robustness under real-world conditions.
- Prototype to Production: Support the transfer of prototypes into scalable production-ready designs in close cooperation with manufacturing partners.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work hand in hand with teams in mechanics embedded systems and software to ensure smooth integration across all system layers.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Robotics or similar
- Experience with PCB design tools (e.g. Altium KiCad or similar) and solid understanding of mixed-signal circuits
- Strong understanding of sensors actuators power electronics and signal conditioning
- Familiarity with EMC grounding and safety standards in hardware design
- Curiosity for robotics and complex electromechanical systems
- Hands-on mindset precision and excitement for fast prototyping and iteration
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Based in Berlin or ready to relocate our robots dont work remotely and neither do we when we build them
