Job Summary

Role: Azure Data Architect.

Location: Atlanta GA (Onsite).

Duration: Long Term Contract.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to design implement and optimize end-to-end cloud data solutions. This role requires a strong technical leader with hands-on experience across Azure data services who can drive high-impact projects that enable advanced analytics reporting and data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect scalable and secure Azure-based data solutions to meet complex business requirements.
Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Synapse Pipelines integrating multiple data sources.
Develop and deploy Power BI dashboards to deliver insights and analytics for business stakeholders.
Monitor system performance using Azure Monitor and proactively resolve issues.
Manage and optimize Azure Data Lake Store for efficient and secure data storage.
Implement Azure Key Vault to protect sensitive data and maintain access controls.
Collaborate with development teams to incorporate Azure DevOps into deployment workflows.
Create and maintain stored procedures for business logic and data transformation.
Develop high-performance data warehousing solutions using Azure Synapse.
Lead enterprise data modeling and ensure alignment with organizational standards.
Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing across the data team.
Maintain compliance with data architecture and security best practices.
Evaluate emerging technologies to continuously enhance the Azure data ecosystem.

Desired Skills and Experience:

8 years of experience in data architecture with at least 3 years in Azure environment.
Strong proficiency in Azure Synapse Data Factory Data Lake SQL and Power BI.
Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor Azure Key Vault and Azure DevOps.
Deep understanding of data modeling ETL processes and data governance.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead large-scale initiatives.
