Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Record patient history and vital signs accurately
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk
- Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient inquiries
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficient in using office equipment and medical software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
