The Marketing Senior Officer is responsible for leading the development implementation and management of strategic marketing and communication initiatives to enhance the companys brand presence and achieve business objectives. This role oversees all marketing branding media and public relations activities to ensure consistent messaging and a strong market position.
Key Responsibility Areas & Activity
Strategic Marketing Planning:
- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies aligned with company goals.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities trends and target audiences.
- Manage the annual marketing budget and ensure effective utilization of resources.
Brand Development and Management:
- Oversee brand positioning visual identity and messaging consistency across all platforms.
- Develop strategies to strengthen brand awareness and loyalty among target audiences.
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines in all communications and marketing materials.
Communication Management:
- Develop and execute internal and external communication plans to enhance corporate image.
- Manage public relations including press releases media coverage and crisis communications.
- Oversee company newsletters announcements and corporate presentations.
Digital Marketing and Online Presence:
- Lead the digital marketing strategy including social media SEO SEM and online advertising.
- Oversee website content performance and user engagement.
- Monitor digital marketing analytics and drive data-based decision-making.
Marketing Campaigns and Promotions:
- Plan organize and supervise marketing campaigns and promotional events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design campaigns that support product launches and seasonal promotions.
- Evaluate campaign performance and report on key metrics.
Event Management and Sponsorship:
- Oversee the planning and execution of corporate events trade shows and exhibitions.
- Manage partnerships and sponsorships to maximize brand visibility and engagement.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead mentor and develop the marketing and communications team.
- Set clear objectives monitor performance and encourage creativity and collaboration.
- Identify training and development needs to enhance team effectiveness.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior management sales and operations to align marketing activities with business needs.
- Coordinate with external agencies media partners and vendors to ensure quality deliverables.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track marketing performance metrics and prepare periodic reports for management.
- Evaluate ROI for marketing initiatives and recommend improvements.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business Administration or a related field (Masters preferred).
Minimum 710 years of experience in marketing and communications with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Experience in the Hospitality or Retail industry is an advantage.
