The Senior / Lead System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the companys IT infrastructure servers networks and security systems.
This role will lead day-to-day IT operations ensure system uptime support business applications and implement best practices in security backups and IT governance.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage an end-to-end IT environment independently.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & System Administration
Manage and maintain Windows & Linux servers Active Directory DNS DHCP and virtualization systems.
Handle installation configuration and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based environments.
Monitor system performance storage backup and disaster recovery operations.
Lead patch management system upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
Network & Security
Manage firewalls VPNs switches and network segmentation.
Ensure IT security standards across servers endpoints and user accounts.
Implement access control endpoint protection and data security policies.
Conduct regular vulnerability checks and coordinate with external security partners when needed.
Technical Support & Operations
Provide L2/L3 technical support for internal teams.
Troubleshoot system issues and ensure minimal downtime.
Maintain IT documentation network diagrams system configurations SOPs.
Manage IT assets licensing and vendor relationships.
Leadership & Management
Lead and mentor junior IT administrators (if applicable).
Work with leadership to plan IT budgets procure hardware/software and design IT roadmaps.
Collaborate with business units to support operations security needs and expansion goals.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or Engineering.
58 years of hands-on experience in system administration network management or IT infrastructure.
Experience in data-sensitive industries (financial services collections legal BPO etc.) is a strong plus.
