Job Summary

The Senior / Lead System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the companys IT infrastructure servers networks and security systems.
This role will lead day-to-day IT operations ensure system uptime support business applications and implement best practices in security backups and IT governance.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage an end-to-end IT environment independently.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & System Administration

  • Manage and maintain Windows & Linux servers Active Directory DNS DHCP and virtualization systems.

  • Handle installation configuration and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based environments.

  • Monitor system performance storage backup and disaster recovery operations.

  • Lead patch management system upgrades and infrastructure improvements.

Network & Security

  • Manage firewalls VPNs switches and network segmentation.

  • Ensure IT security standards across servers endpoints and user accounts.

  • Implement access control endpoint protection and data security policies.

  • Conduct regular vulnerability checks and coordinate with external security partners when needed.

Technical Support & Operations

  • Provide L2/L3 technical support for internal teams.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and ensure minimal downtime.

  • Maintain IT documentation network diagrams system configurations SOPs.

  • Manage IT assets licensing and vendor relationships.

Leadership & Management

  • Lead and mentor junior IT administrators (if applicable).

  • Work with leadership to plan IT budgets procure hardware/software and design IT roadmaps.

  • Collaborate with business units to support operations security needs and expansion goals.



Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or Engineering.

  • 58 years of hands-on experience in system administration network management or IT infrastructure.

  • Experience in data-sensitive industries (financial services collections legal BPO etc.) is a strong plus.

Technical Skills

  • Windows Server & Linux administration

  • Active Directory Group Policies

  • Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)

  • Firewalls VPNs Network Security

  • Backup & Disaster Recovery systems

  • Microsoft 365 / Exchange / Azure AD

  • Knowledge of IT security standards (ISO 27001 SOC etc.)

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability

  • High ownership and accountability

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
