At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) our Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) deliver one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to help children with autism develop communication social and daily living skills.
Were hiring compassionate reliable professionals to join our Durham team. Candidates should have weekday availability from 12:00 PM6:00 PM at minimum with the opportunity for additional hours based on client needs.
Position Details
- Location: Durham NC (clinic and in-home sessions)
- Schedule: MondayFriday minimum 12:00 PM6:00 PM (additional hours may be available)
- Employment Type: Part-time or full-time
- Reports To: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Compensation:
- Behavior Technician: $18.00$22.00/hr (based on experience)
- RBT Certified: $22.00$26.00/hr (based on experience & certification)
What Youll Do
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clinic and/or home settings
- Follow individualized treatment and behavior plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect and record session data using digital tools
- Support communication play and independence skill development
- Collaborate with clinical team members and caregivers
Who You Are
- Passionate about helping children with autism learn and grow
- Reliable patient and eager to learn
- Comfortable working in both clinic and home environments
- Professional punctual and team-oriented
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
- Ability to complete training and background checks
Preferred:
- Active RBT certification
- Experience working with children (childcare tutoring camps or similar)
- Interest in psychology education or behavior analysis
