The Opportunity
Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer whos excited to join an innovative team shaping the future of logistics. As part of our AI Native Engineering organization youll help develop software that thoughtfully integrates the latest AI tools to create smarter more scalable systems.
Youll contribute to building the backbone of Rose Rockets next-generation logistics platformwhether developing the frameworks that power our system or delivering the customer-facing features that bring it to life. Your work will span from foundational infrastructure to the experiences that help our customers move goods more efficiently.
What youll be doing
Collaborate with experienced engineers in a mentorship-focused environment where learning and knowledge sharing are part of everyday life.
Bring ideas from concept to delivery and see how your work makes a meaningful impact in the world of trucking.
Partner with cross-functional product-focused teams that value curiosity creativity and continuous improvement.
Explore and experiment with the latest AI-assisted coding tools integrating them into your development workflow.

Backend: NodeJS NestJS Typescript
Frontend: React Redux Websockets
Database: PostgreSQL Redis DynamoDB Elasticsearch
Infrastructure: AWS Docker Kubernetes Github actions
What Will Help You Succeed
A collaborative and curious mindset with a hands-on approach to solving problems.
Genuine care for your craft and the people who use your work.
5 years (or equivalent experience) developing reliable production-ready software.
Bachelors degree in Computer or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
Interest in mentoring and supporting othershelping teammates grow while continuing to grow yourself.
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Cursor Cline Windsurf) and enthusiasm to continue learning.
Experience with agile project management tools (JIRA Asana Linear or equivalent).
Proficiency with Git and a strong understanding of version control best practices.
