Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for NPI process team activities.
  • Monitor maintain and qualify equipment tools/ fixtures for production used. Perform periodic verification and calibration on equipment/ tools/ fixtures
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the production process and improve yield.
  • Seeking a detail-oriented candidate with proven experience in epoxy bonding processes to manage and execute high-precision assembly tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with optical alignment machines is a significant advantage for this position as it will enhance the candidates ability to achieve precise and accurate equipment setups.
  • Observational skills to notice discrepancies understand the manufacturing process in detail troubleshooting at an appropriate level and involving senior members of staff
  • Communication skill to communicate and interface well with peers enhance teamwork
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Derive Continual Improvement and use of resources
  • Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.

Education & Experience

  • A diploma holder in Mechanical/ Electronics or its equivalents.

Skills

  • Leadership capabilities to manage a virtual team.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
  • Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
