Engineering Project Engineer

Newtownards
Salary up to 45000

An excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a leading machinery manufacturer. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for managing the technical delivery and coordination of engineering projects from concept through to commissioning.

The Role:

Manage and deliver multiple projects within agreed time cost and quality targets
Liaise with customers to define specifications and project requirements
Design and develop both mechanical and electrical systems
Prepare and review technical documentation drawings and schematics
Oversee assembly installation and commissioning of machinery and automation systems
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for machinery
Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and regulatory standards

The Person:

HNC/HND (or higher) in either Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in maintenance or engineering roles
Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems integration
Excellent problem-solving communication and organisational skills
