Job Summary

Summary Of Position
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and working in close collaboration with the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Health and Human Services the Data Technician will be responsible for creating and maintaining college data and organizing and presenting data relevant to CHHS from a wide range of data sources. This role will support data accuracy maintain key data files for accreditation and compliance and generate reports as needed to support data-driven decision making and planning.

Other Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in information technology computer science or related field. 2-3 years of experience in data management preferably in an educational or healthcare setting. Strong proficiency with database management systems (e.g. SQL Oracle) and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel Tableau). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Effective communication skills both written and verbal. Knowledge of student information systems ( SIS ) and familiarity with relevant privacy regulations (e.g. FERPA HIPAA ) is a plus.
