Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Description:
We are hiring for our client a leading and well-established production business located 20 minutes from Ballyhaunis who wish to appoint an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
This is a permanent dayshift position with no nights evenings or early starts offering excellent work-life balance and a competitive package including overtime opportunities. The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe efficient and reliable operation of all plant machinery and electrical systems.

The Role:
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on production and process equipment
Diagnose and repair faults on motors drives sensors and control systems
Support continuous improvement and preventative maintenance activities
Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant upgrades
Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and enhance reliability
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with all health safety and quality standards
The Person:
Electrical engineering qualification
Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
Sound knowledge of electrical systems drives PLCs and automation desirable
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
Excellent communication teamwork and organisational abilities
A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work
