Job Summary
Job Title: MRI Technologist

Pay Rate From: $71/hr

Position Overview: Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an MRI Technologist for an exciting job in New York NY.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED (required)
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
Active NYS Radiography License
NYS certification to inject contrast media
ARRT certification in:
Radiography (R)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
Must maintain CE credits as required by ARRT
Minimum 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging
Must have recent relevant MRI experience
Proficient in:
EMR
RIS
HIS
PACS
Modality-specific software
Compliance with JC T61 standards
Responsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations following established protocols and safety standards
Administer contrast media as required following NYS guidelines
Ensure patient safety comfort and accurate positioning during imaging
Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment efficiently
Review images for quality and completeness prior to submission
Maintain accurate patient records in EMR RIS HIS and PACS
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for optimal patient care
Adhere to all Joint Commission (JC T61) and departmental policies
