Salary: Starting from 36500 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Handsworth Birmingham
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to take the next step in your career We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our clients specialist mental health services supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions.
About the Role
As a Senior OT you will:
- Deliver a range of occupational therapy assessments and interventions to promote recovery and wellbeing.
- Lead and coordinate therapeutic programmes including group and individual sessions.
- Provide supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure service users occupational needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement evidence-based practice using tools such as MOHOST to measure outcomes.
- Support the development of therapeutic activities tailored to individual needs.
- Contribute to service improvement and uphold organisational values of dignity respect and empowerment.
What Were Looking For
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to work core hours (Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00).
