Job Description

Service Technician / Boiler Technician / Boiler Engineer required to join a leading supplier of boiler and heat pumps solutions.

The successful Service Technician / Boiler Technician / Boiler Engineer is directly responsible for utilizing mechanical capabilities to perform maintenance on
Commercial/Industrial boilers in the NYC/Long Island area. Working alongside an
experience / factory trained service technician who will instruct on all areas of repair and maintenance.

The ideal Service Technician / Boiler Technician / Boiler Engineer will have strong field and service experience with fuel-fired boilers commercial boilers or heat pumps.

Service Technician / Boiler Technician / Boiler Engineer Responsibilities:

Performs routine maintenance on low pressure boilers high boilers power boilers steam boilers or hot water heating systems.
Replaces defective valves filters or steam gauges.
Monitors boiler systems to ensure it is operating safely and properly;
facilitates periodic cleaning
Addresses any problems with boiler systems and notifies maintenance when
needed

Service Technician / Boiler Technician / Boiler Engineer Requirements:

5 years experience in Boiler Maintenance Combustion basic boiler circuits
PLC instrumentation calibration ability to read wiring schematic
Stand-by on-call service capability required
Technical/vocational school training and experience working with HVAC or
industrial boilers and extensive knowledge of industrial boiler operations and maintenance
OSHA 30 F-60 & G-60 is required
