Location
This position is on-site full-time in Albion MI a close-knit community offering an affordable cost of living and easy access to larger metro areas like Ann Arbor Lansing and Kalamazoo. Relocation assistance is available.
Note Candidates must have a PE license (Structural Engineering license preferred). Experience in cold-formed steel design and CAD standards is highly desirable.

Their vertically integrated modelcombining in-house engineering and fabricationallows them to deliver best-in-class solar and structural solutions for the commercial fuel solar and satellite communication industries.
Job Description
- Serve as an upper-level structural engineer supporting solar and industrial projects.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and design across multiple materials and systems.
- Review and approve design calculations reports and drawings.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to define project scope and schedules.
- Supervise 35 engineers and drafters to ensure timely accurate deliverables.
- Develop cold-formed steel shop drawings and ensure CAD standards are maintained.
- Apply IBC AWC AISC ACI ASCE and AISI standards to project designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masters preferred).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (SE a plus).
- 5 years of structural engineering experience.
- Familiarity with cold-formed steel solar mounting systems and design codes.
- Leadership capability and desire to grow into a director-level role.
