Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Back End Developer to join our growing team. As a Back End Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining the back end of our web applications and systems. You will work closely with our front-end developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop the back end of our web applications and systems including database server-side logic and APIs

- Collaborate with front end developers to ensure smooth integration of the front and back end

- Write clean efficient and well-documented code

- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise in the back end

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

- Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements

- Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

- Continuously improve and maintain existing codebase

- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

- Ensure proper security measures are implemented in the back end

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in back-end development

- Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages such as Java Python or Ruby

- Proficient in database design and management with experience in SQL and NoSQL databases

- Familiarity with front end languages and frameworks such as HTML CSS and JavaScript

- Experience with version control systems such as Git

- Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus
