Join our team as a Semiconductor Field Service Technician III and work with cutting-edge semiconductor equipment including high-vacuum PVD tools thin film deposition systems and multi-chamber cluster systems used in hard drive and memory manufacturing. This customer-facing field service role offers hands-on experience installing maintaining and troubleshooting advanced equipment in cleanroom environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform equipment installation preventive maintenance repairs and troubleshooting for semiconductor tools.
- Monitor calibrate and maintain vacuum systems semiconductor process equipment and robotics systems.
- Collect and share software and hardware data with headquarters.
- Document all maintenance activities and prepare service reports.
- Train and support customer engineering teams.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure timely repairs.
- Travel domestically and internationally including initial training in Japan.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED with 2-4 years of field service experience.
- Experience with vacuum equipment semiconductor process tools and robotics preferred.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Experience with PLC and other software applications is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ability to work independently.
- Valid drivers license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bilingual (Japanese/English) helpful but not required.
